This is where my design career started. I had only the most rudimentary drawing skills at the time: all the flyers I did back then were pen and ink, then photographed to plate. When the flyers were meant to be colour, I had to spend hours tracing and filling the separations by hand on tracing paper. Lettering and typography was either hand-written or assembled using letraset transfers. Sometimes the results were questionable, but the designs were still effective in terms of communicating correctly to the target audience.
